Sligro Food Group N.V., Veghel, Netherlands, announces that Henk-Jan Peterse has decided to leave its service with effect from 1 March 2011.

Henk-Jan joined the company on 1 February 2007 and was appointed Foodservice Director by the General Meeting of Shareholders on 12 March 2008. In the ensuing period, he has focused mainly on professionalisation of the delivery operation within the Foodservice Division. With the imminent completion of a number of major projects, the future of this part of the Foodservice Division is assured and Henk-Jan now wishes to pursue other career options.

While the Executive and Supervisory Boards regret his decision, they have to respect it and wish Henk-Jan every success in his future career. Henk-Jan will of course continue actively to head the Foodservice operations until 1 March.

The process of appointing his successor will commence shortly.
