Sligro Food Group N.V., Veghel, and Van Oers Holding B.V., Boxtel, announce that agreement can be expected on the acquisition by Sligro of the Van Oers Groep wholesale activities. Van Oers Groep wants to concentrate entirely on further expanding its production activities concerned with snacks, salads and sandwiches.

The business activities to be acquired currently form part of the companies Van Oers Holding, Van Oers Grootverbruik and Van Oers Logistiek. The companies themselves are not being taken over. The activities concerned are expected to generate sales of €80 million in 2012.
