Sligro's turnover in 2001 up 50% to EUR 1,172 million.
The turnover of Sligro Beheer N.V. for the year 2001 amounted to EUR 1,172 million, an increase of almost 50% compared to the turnover of EUR 782 million in the year 2000.
The forecasted turnover of approximately EUR 1,150 million was exceeded with EUR 22 million.
Organic growth in turnover in the second half year amounted to 8.6%, compared to 6.7% in the first half. The annual organic growth amounted to 7.7%.
The improved marketapproach, a nice summer and a top year end turnover boosted the organic growth.
The turnover of Prisma Food Group, which was acquired early 2001, also developed better than expected at the half year figures. Prisma supplies the retailformats Golff, MeerMarkt, Attent en Zomermarkt/Rekra.
At January 24 2002, prior to opening of the stock exchange, Sligro publishes it's full year results.
