Sligro Food Group reports € 1,299 million turnover in 2002
Sligro Food Group N.V.'s turnover increased to € 1,299 million in 2002, up almost 11% on the 2001 figure of €1,172 million.

Organic turnover growth in the second half of the year amounted to 4%, compared with 5% in the first half. Organic turnover growth for the year amounted to 4.4%.

Overall growth in turnover benefited from the acquisition of EM-TÉ Supermarkets in early May 2002.

Sligro Food Group's full 2002 results will be published before start of trading on 23 January 2003 (previous announcements gave the date as 22 January 2003).
