Appointment of Henk-Jan Peterse as General Manager of Sligro Bezorgservice groothandels
Sligro Food Group announced in early August that, in view of its rapid growth (partly due to the acquisition of VEN, Inversco and part of Edah), it had decided to strengthen the management teams of two operating companies, Sligro Zelfbedieningsgroothandels and Sligro Bezorgservice groothandels, to give the Executive Board of Sligro Food Group more time to devote to group matters.
Following the appointment of Walter de Wit as General Manager of Sligro Zelfbedieningsgroothandels, the Executive Board of Sligro Food Group now announces its intention to appoint Henk-Jan Peterse (41) as General Manager of Sligro Bezorgservice groothandels.
After completing his business economics studies at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Henk-Jan Peterse gained wide experience in the food sector. Having held a number of commercial positions within Unilever and at his family company Groothandel Peterse, he has been General Manager of Lekkerland Benelux since 2000. Henk-Jan Peterse is married, has three children and lives in Tiel.
Henk-Jan Peterse will start his new job in February 2007.
